The children have come up with their own ways of showing what they have learnt about storms and earthquakes, from games to posters and a 3D setting for a narrative.

Reading with Kindergarten
We are making the most of our biweekly reading with Miss Myshi's class. Both classes are thoroughly enjoying it and it is lovely to see the confidence of both children growing as some good relationships are being established.
Science Day
We had great fun using static electricity to move a balloon without touching it. Ask the children to see if they can explain how it works- hopefully they're positively charged with a curious slice of negativity.
Mindful Thinking
We have been thinking about how to control our breathing and focus our minds in order that we can be present in the moment and consequently improve how well we do something. To help with this we have four images. The flower represents freshness, the mountain represents solidity, the still lake represents clarity and the blue sky represents freedom from worry. This is something that we will continue to improve the more we do it.
