Acting Workshop

Today, Year 3 had the priviledge of participating in a drama workshop with Mr McLennan. We learnt many different warm up techniques that we will be sure to use before our production next Thursday. Lots of the games that we played made us giggle and squeal with excitement. It was a very energetic afternoon so no doubt the children will have returned home feeling slightly exhausted!

Thank you Mr McLennan, we had a wonderful time and we will try our best to remember everything that you taught us before our big night night week!

Super Stories

Over the past few weeks, Miss Campbell's Literacy group has been busy writing some fantastic stories. Yesterday, we finished them and today we had the opportunity to share them with Mr Dyke's Literacy group. We sat together whilst half of us read and the other half gave us constructive feedback.
Mr Dyke was extremely impressed and even suggested that we put our books into the library to share with the rest of the school, we think that's an excellent idea!

Please feel free to come in and read the children's stories yourself.

Happy Birthday Kylen

3C would like to wish Kylen a very happy birthday. We hope that he had a wonderful day!

The cake was delicious. Thank you to Kylen's family for sending it in for us to enjoy.

Rock Candy

During our Science lessons, we have been learning about the effect that diet has on our bodies. Today, we learnt about the effect of sugar and we discussed the negative impacts that too much of it could have on our health. The children already knew that sugar can cause tooth decay if it is consumed in large quantities and when people do not brush their teeth properly.

We are trying to grow our very own rock candy crystals to represent how sugar builds up on teeth when they are not brushed properly.
