Homework

Homework is given out on a Monday and should be returned on a Friday.

Literacy:

Plan a story with a moral, using the five steps of the story mountain.

Remember to try to read in English for at least 10 minutes a day and talk about what you have read. What did you like and why.

What didn't you like and why.

How would you feel in that situation?

What else could the character(s) have done?

How do you think the story will develop?

Numeracy

Multiplying 3 digit numbers by single digit numbers.

Keep practicing number bonds, multiplying and dividing by 2 and 10 daily.

Spelling

Learn the words for the test on Friday! We had some very entertaining short stories, created by the children, containing all their spellings for this week.

Homework for Numeracy, Spelling and Phonics will be issued every Monday to be returned each Friday. Children will also have a reading book and a library book to encourage daily reading.
