The Line of Symmetry (also called the Mirror Line) does not have to be up-down or left-right, it can be in any direction! We found this concept quite tricky to understand until Miss Campbell told us to simply turn the line until it was straight.
We had great fun reflecting lines and shapes on our carpet. We split into two teams and challenged each other to some very difficult reflections. Then, we used peg boards to create individual reflections, these turned out to be very beautiful.
