3C have loved studying the history of Ancient Egypt. Whilst learning about the rule of Pharaohs, we thought it would be a good idea to appoint a ruler of Ascot. Each child had the opportunity to write a speech and tell the class why they would make a good Pharaoh. Some children decided that Ascot would be a school where they chose their own timetable so pupils only had to attend their favourite lessons, there was also mention on eating pizza for lunch every day!
At the end of the day, each child delivered their speech and then we voted on who would become the first Pharaoh of Ascot. Congratulations Minna, you were there winner! I have a feeling that part of your victory had something to do with a promise of a roller coaster in the playground!
