Shadow Puppets

Recently, 3C have had a lot of fun creating shadow puppets. In our Science lessons, we explored how light travels from a light source until it meets an object, in this case it was our classroom wall. When something blocks light travelling from a source, a shadow is formed. We also looked at how light can travel through translucent materials. Some children even added colour to their shadow puppets.

The class worked in groups of 4 and combined their knowledge of light and shadows with their knowledge of ancient Egypt to write some fantastic play scripts which they then performed to the class.

Your stories were brilliant and very historically accurate. You worked well in your groups and listened carefully to each other's presentations. Well done 3C.
