Mystery Skype

On Friday we took part in our first 'Mystery Skype'. This is a game played by two classrooms on Skype. The aim of the game is to guess the location of the other class by asking each other questions. First, we got out our world map, clipboards, paper, pens and cameras. Next, we discussed how we were going to collect information. Each child was given a sheet with the questions we were planning to ask. We waited excitedly for the Skype call to come through...

Our first 'Mystery Skype' came through at 9.15am from Ms MacLean's class. We introduced ourselves and we discussed how the call would be conducted – we were very impressed by their professionalism and organisation of questions.
